Program Overview

The General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) program is a three-year course designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary for a successful career in nursing. Emphasizing experiential learning, this program prepares students for real-world challenges in healthcare settings.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for admission to the GNM program, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  1. Age Requirement:
    • The minimum age for admission is 17 years by December 31st of the admission year.
  2. Minimum Education:
    • Candidates must have completed the 10+2 examination in any stream with English core/elective and an aggregate of 40% marks from a recognized board (AHSEC/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSLC) or an equivalent board.
    • Students must be medically fit to pursue the program.
    • Students appearing for the 10+2 science examination conducted by the National Institute of Open Schooling with a minimum of 45% marks are also eligible.

Admission Frequency:

Admissions to the GNM program occur once a year.

B.Sc Nursing

For those interested in furthering their education, our college also offers a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc Nursing) program. This program is designed to build upon the foundation established in the GNM course, providing advanced knowledge and skills in nursing practice.
