Founded in 2019, St Martha Group of Institutions well known as SM Group of Institutions is one of the largest private institutes in Assam. SM Group of Institutions has been promoted by the Trust under the banner of SVJ Foundation Guwahati.
SM Group of Institutions, offer UG and PG Programs on Nursing, Pharmacy, Life Science and Management in Assam, affiliated to Srimanta Sankardeva University of Health Sciences and Assam Science and Technology University. It is with immense pride and joy that I welcome you to St. Martha Group of Institutions, Guwahati – a beacon of excellence in nursing, pharmacy and life sciences education in Assam.
Guided by the noble motto of SVJ Foundation “Renunciation and Service” – we began our journey in 2019 with the St. Martha Institute of Nursing. What started with the 4-year B.Sc Nursing programme has grown rapidly. In 2021 we introduced the GNM course and in 2023 we expanded with a new campus at Ahomgaon, adding Post Basic B.Sc Nursing, M.Sc Nursing, B.Pharm, D.Pharm, along with B.Sc (Hons) Microbiology, B.Sc (Hons) Biotechnology, M.Sc Microbiology and M.Sc Biotechnology.
Today, St. Martha stands as one of the best private nursing colleges in Guwahati and a trusted name for GNM Assam, Pharmacy and Life Sciences Programmes. Our students receive world-class infrastructure, intensive clinical training at 350-bedded Ayursundra Super Specialty Hospital and other leading hospitals, fully equipped laboratories and 100% placement assistance with free IELTS & OET training for global opportunities.
